Martha L. Davis, 85, of Columbia, formerly of Mexico, passed away at 5:55 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2, 2020, at her son’s home in Columbia.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 7, 2020, at the First Church of the Nazarene in Mexico. Visitation will be Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time at the church. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park.

Martha was born May 27, 1935, in Mexico, the daughter of Curtis Claude and Nellie Emma Mae (Bobbit) Fetterhoff. On Oct. 24, 1954 in Mexico, she married Charles I. Davis, who preceded her in death on Apr. 9, 2011.

Mrs. Davis was a member of the Mexico First Church of the Nazarene where she had been very active as treasurer, Sunday school teacher, and as missions director. She more recently had volunteered at Eugene Field Elementary School in Mexico in the kindergarten department.

Survivors include one son, Rodney Davis (Teresa) of Columbia; one daughter, Rhonda Stallings (John) of Louisville, Ohio; one brother, Garry Fetterhoff (Esther) of Columbia; one sister, Dorothy Davis of Texas; five grandchildren, Brad (Katie) Davis of Columbia, Jalyn (Matt) North of Ashland, Jonna (Michael) Summers of Houston, Texas, John (Stephanie) Stallings IV of Canton, Ohio, and Sarah (Chad) Taylor of Cambridge, Ohio; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, Larry and Curtis Fetterhoff; and one sister, Betty Meyers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kansas Christian College or Mexico Church of the Nazarene in care of Pickering Funeral Home, 403 N. Western, Mexico, MO 65265.
