The Mexico Middle School Courtesy Award was recently presented to two deserving Mexico Middle School students, Logan Munford and Trinity Bush. The award recognizes the importance of good character and behavior for an optimum learning atmosphere. They believe that public recognition of students demonstrating courtesy and respect would help foster the atmosphere. It was then established that one boy and girl that have consistently demonstrated personal qualities of kindness, respect and courtesy to their classmates, teachers and school staff of the Mexico Middle School would be publicly recognized annually.

Recipients are elected by the MMS faculty and staff. Each recipient is awarded a certificate of recognition along with a check for $50. They are recognized at the spring awards assembly, to be held this Thursday. Recipients  will also have their names engraved on the MMS Courtesy Award plaque which is displayed in the awards showcase at MMS.

Logan Munford is the son of Charles and Amy Munford and Trinity Bush is the daughter of Andrew and Ashley Bush.  Eighth grade promotion is May 25 and the last day of school, May 26.
