A Mexico woman is recovering from minor injuries following a one-car accident in Callaway County the night of 11/09/2022.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol it happened around 5:30 p.m. when 45-year-old Gina M. Shern was driving her vehicle on US 54 eastbound, one mile east of Route FF. The accident occurred as the vehicle hit a deer in the roadway.
Shern was transported by ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia.
