Mike lived in Marshall/Mexico most of his life. He attended Marshall High School, where he received his GED upon learning he was going to be a dad. Enterprise, Texas; and three nieces, Jessica Powell, Katelin and Baylie Elwess.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Chester and Lea Etta Brown, Bill and Marie Adams, Leonard and Hazel Stewart, and siblings Alicia and Kirk Adams.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be announced.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested any contributions be made to Misfit Toys Car Club funds for Autism.
