On Tuesday, March 2 at approximately 10:29 a.m., the Mexico Public Safety Department responded to the 1400 block of South Coal Street in reference to someone being threatened with a gun.
Responding personnel located Kevin L Jackson, 19, of Mexico, in the area. Jackson was arrested without incident, processed at MPSD, and taken to the Audrain County Jail for fourth-degree assault, unlawful use of weapon, and second-degree endangering the welfare of a child.
There were no injuries.
