Trojans top Paris in five

The Community R-6 Trojans were explosive in the first inning on Monday in Paris. They scored seven runs in the frame to eventually win 11-1 in five innings. 

In the mass of scoring, Brant Cope hit his first career home run and grand slam to finish with five RBI. Gavin Allen and Ayden Meranda each finished with three RBI while Allen struck out nine in five innings on the mound.

Leo Bounds came in to pitch in relief for Paris in the first inning and struck out seven in three innings.
