The 2022 Miss Audrain Pageant was held at the Missouri Military Academy in Mexico on Saturday, Nov. 12.

It was a big night for 16-year-old Alyson Meyer, who attends the Mexico High School and was competing in her first ever pageant. She won the crown of Miss Brick City's Outstanding Teen. Her social impact initiative is Feeding Local. She is raising awareness for local families suffering from food insecurities.

Miss Audrain's Outstanding Teen is 13-year-old Bridget Caldwell. She is from Florissant and has a social impact initiative of Bridging the Gap between Youth and Veterans.

Landry Jenkins, of Rogersville, was crowned Miss Brick City. Jenkins' social impact initiative is Alzheimer’s awareness.

And the crown of Miss Audrain went to Melissa Gomes. She is from Florissant and won a $500 scholarship that was donated by Graf and Sons of Mexico.

Miss Audrain Pageant Executive Director Amy LeCount, says "The pageant had great attendance locally and from around the state. Hopefully all contestants will be back in Mexico for the Christmas Parade and lighting of the United Credit Union Christmas tree on Dec. 3. Now we all will get ready for the Miss Missouri Pageant that will be held in Mexico, in June 2023 at the MMA."
