BOONE - A 60-year-old Columbia man suffered minor injuries April 13 after the car he was traveling in collided with another vehicle at Missouri 73 at Brown School Road.
The man was transported to University Hospital. He was a passenger in a 2017 Toyota Prius that was traveling south and had stopped at a red light when the driver of a 2020 Mazda CX-5 failed to see the Prius was stopped and collided with the vehicle’s rear. Neither the driver of the Prius nor the driver of Mazda - both of whom were 50-year-old women from Columbia - were injured, according to the crash report. The wreck occurred just before 3:30 p.m.
BOONE - A Columbia man suffered moderate injuries after he crashed his vehicle April 8 at U.S. 62 northbound south of Westbrook Drive.
The man, 62, was transported to University Hospital. The wreck, which occurred at 2:35 p.m., happened when the man’s vehicle, a 2018 Hyundai Sonata, traveled off the right side of the roadway for an unknown reason, struck a tree, rotated clockwise and then came to a rest in a ditch, according to a crash report.
CALLAWAY - A Jefferson City woman suffered moderate injuries after her vehicle crashed April 14 on southbound U.S. 63 north of the U.S. 54 interchange.
The woman, 25, the driver of a 2023 Ford Bronco, was transported to Capital Region Medical Center, the crash report stated.
The wreck occurred at 1:25 p.m. when the woman fell asleep and collided with another vehicle, a 2005 International 4400, in the rear and then ran off the right side of the roadway and overturned, coming to a rest on the outer road. The driver of the other vehicle, a 56-year-old Vienna man, did not suffer any injuries.
CALLAWAY - An Auxvasse teenager suffered serious injuries after he crashed his vehicle April 13 at eastbound Interstate 70 at the 152 mile marker.
The boy, 15, was transported to University Hospital. The wreck occurred just after 7:40 a.m. when the boy’s 1998 GMC Sonoma ran off the roadway, overturned and struck an embankment.
CALLAWAY - A 33-year-old Columbia man suffered minor injuries after he crashed his vehicle April 11 at eastbound U.S. 54, west of Route AE.
The man was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital. The wreck occurred at 5:55 a.m. when the man’s 2019 Mitsubishi Mirage traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a cable barrier, returned to the roadway and came to a rest.
