Wreck sends two to Boone Hospital
CALLAWAY - Two people were taken to Boone Hospital after a collision Feb. 21 on eastbound Interstate 70.
Just after 8:35 a.m., a woman, 24, and a boy, 1, both of Bowling Green, suffered minor injuries when their vehicle, a 2014 Ford Edge, collided with another vehicle, a 2016 Honda Accord.
The crash happened after the Accord - driven by a 21-year-old Wentzville man, who was not injured - was traveling in the right lane and blew out a tire and skidded sideways in front of the woman’s vehicle and resulted in a collision, according to the crash report. Both vehicles became disabled in the roadway.
