Mexico residents suffer minor injuries in crash
BOONE - Two Mexico residents suffered minor injuries after they were involved in a two-vehicle crash July 10 on Route J south of Missouri 124.
The injured people - a 10-year-old girl and a 7-year-old girl - declined treatment at the scene, according to the crash report.
The wreck happened at 9:35 p.m. The crash report stated a 2013 Chevrolet Impala, driven by a 35-year-old Mexico woman, attempted to turn left out of a parking lot onto Route J when it entered the path of a 1997 Ford F-350, which caused a collision. A Harrisburg man, 30, was driving the Ford and was not injured. A 7-year-old boy from Harrisburg was in that vehicle and was not injured.
Harrisburg woman injured in wreck
BOONE - A Harrisburg woman suffered minor injuries after a two-vehicle crash July 10 at Missouri 124 at Gano Chance Road.
The woman, 20, went to Boone Hospital by private vehicle. Her passenger, a 20-year-old woman from Harrisburg, was not hurt.
The wreck happened just before 3:25 p.m. The crash report said the woman’s vehicle, a 2021 Hyundai Sonata, collided with the towed unit of another vehicle, a 2011 Ford F-150, and then overturned on the left side of the roadway. The Ford was owned by a 33-year-old Centralia man.
Columbia man injured in motorcycle crash
BOONE - A Columbia man suffered moderate injuries after he was injured in a one-vehicle crash July 8 at Route E east of Bethlehem Road.
The man, 25, was taken to University Hospital.
The wreck occurred at 7:10 p.m. when the man’s vehicle, a 2025 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R, traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a ditch. The man was ejected.
Fulton woman hurt in Interstate 70 crash
CALLAWAY - A Fulton woman suffered serious injuries after she was involved in a two-vehicle wreck July 11 on Interstate east at the 136 mile marker.
The woman, 54, was taken to University Hospital.
The wreck happened at 2:40 p.m. The woman’s vehicle, a 2011 Toyota 4 Runner, and another vehicle, a 2015 Freightliner M2, driven by a 25-year-old Tacoma, Washington, man were going east on I-70 and approaching the construction zone. The drivers attempted to change lanes to the right and the two vehicles collided, with the woman’s vehicle striking the concrete barrier and becoming wedged between the other vehicle and the concrete barrier.
Auxvasse woman hurt in single-car wreck
CALLAWAY - An Auxvasse woman suffered moderate injuries and was taken to University Hospital after she was injured in a one-vehicle accident July 8 at Route F at County Road 311.
The wreck happened at 9:40 a.m. when the woman, 54, who was driving a 2016 Ford Edge, was going east on Route F when she went off the right side of the road and struck a ditch.
