Four people injured in two-car wreck

BOONE - Four people were injured after they were involved in a two-vehicle collision June 27 at Missouri 763 north of Prathersville Road.

Two Columbia women, both 39, had serious injuries and were taken to University Hospital by ambulance. Two other people - a 19-year-old Columbia man and a 69-year-old Madison woman - suffered minor injuries. The man refused treatment, and the woman went to Moberly Regional Medical Center by private vehicle. 

The wreck occurred when a 2012 Ford Fusion, driven by the 19-year-old man, attempted a u-turn from the shoulder and collided with a 2021 Buick Enclave, driven by the 69-year-old woman. The wreck occurred just before 2:15 p.m.

Harrisburg woman injured in two-vehicle crash

BOONE - A Harrisburg woman suffered moderate injuries after she was involved in a two-vehicle wreck June 25 at westbound Missouri 124 at Hopper Road.

The woman, 35, was taken to University Hospital. 

The wreck, which happened just before 4:15 p.m., occurred when a 2016 Ford F-450, driven by a 50-year-old Ashland man, failed to yield to the woman, who was driving a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, the crash report stated. The F-450 attempted to cross Missouri 124 and traveled into the path of the Pacifica, causing a collision.

Harrisburg man injured after motorcycle wreck

BOONE - A Harrisburg man suffered moderate injuries after he crashed his motorcycle June 24 at Route E northbound at McQuitty Road.

The man, 29, was transported to the VA hospital in Columbia by private vehicle.

The man, riding a 2003 Harley Davidson, failed to negotiate a left-hand curve, traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned, the crash report stated. He was ejected. The wreck occurred at 6:30 p.m.

Two Fulton boys injured in crash

CALLAWAY - Two Fulton boys suffered injuries after they were in a crash June 30 at CRD 342 at CRD 351.

A 13-year-old boy, with moderate injuries, was the driver of a UTV and was taken to University Hospital, while the other boy, 14, the passenger, suffered minor injuries but declined medical attention. 

The crash, which occurred just after 9 p.m., occurred when the vehicle, a 2015 Massimo MSU400, made a right turn and hit a bump, causing the vehicle to skid and overturn.

Fulton man injured in mower crash

CALLAWAY - A Fulton man suffered moderate injuries when he crashed his mower June 30 on Erfie Drive west of County Road 113.

The man, 81, was taken to University Hospital.

The crash report said the man, who was riding in a 2004 Mahndra ML112 brush hog mower, traveled off the right side of the road and overturned, partially ejecting the man, the crash report stated. The wreck happened at 12:45 p.m.

Two Columbia residents suffer minor injuries after collision

CALLAWAY - Two Columbia residents were injured after a two-vehicle crash June 26 at Old U.S. Highway 40 east of Emerald Lake Drive.

Both people suffered minor injuries. A woman, 31, driving a 2024 Honda Civic, was taken to Boone Hospital by private vehicle, and a man, 47, driving a 2006 Toyota Sienna, was taken to Boone Hospital by ambulance. 

The wreck, which happened just before 4:20 p.m., occurred when the Toyota exited a private drive and collided with the Honda when the Toyota entered the roadway.
