Motorcycle crash injures two Laddonia people
AUDRAIN - Two people from Laddonia suffered injuries after they were involved in a motorcycle crash on June 9.
The wreck happened at 1:40 p.m. on Route K east of County Road 657. The driver, a 42-year-old man, and his passenger, a 46-year-old woman, were taken to University Hospital. The man, who had serious injuries, was transported by Survival Flight, and the woman, with moderate injuries, was taken by ambulance, according to the crash report.
The wreck occurred when the vehicle, a 2011 Harley Davidson Softail, traveled off the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned, ejecting the driver and passenger.
Florida man injured in crash
CALLAWAY - A 65-year-old Tampa, Florida, man suffered minor injuries after he crashed his vehicle on Interstate 70 at the 151.2 mile marker on June 7.
The man was taken to University Hospital. The wreck happened at 6:35 p.m. when the man, driving a 2024 Freightliner Cascadia, traveled off the left side of the roadway and overturned.
Jefferson City woman suffers minor injuries in crash
CALLAWAY - A 24-year-old Jefferson City woman suffered minor injuries after she was involved in a single-car crash on June 5.
The wreck occurred at 4 a.m. at westbound U.S. 54 just west of Mel Ray Curve. The woman was transported to Capital Region Medical Center.
The crash report said the woman, who was driving a 2024 Hyundai Kona, ran off the right side of the road, struck an embankment, overturned and came to a rest with “the front end of the vehicle supported by a tree.”
