Two-vehicle crash sends woman to hospital
BOONE - A Sturgeon woman suffered minor injuries after her driver's vehicle collided with another vehicle March 24 on US 63 southbound at Breedlove.
The woman, 50, who was an occupant in one of the vehicles, was taken by University EMS to University Hospital, according to the crash report.
The drivers of the two vehicles were not injured. The wreck occurred just before 2:35 p.m. when a 77-year-old man from Sturgeon was driving his 2017 GMC Terrain west and attempted to cross southbound US 63 and failed to yield to another vehicle, a 2013 Ram 2500 driven by a 74-year-old Harrisburg man, and that vehicle collided with the right side of the Terrain. The injured woman was in the Terrain.
Woman suffers injuries after crash
BOONE - A New Franklin woman suffered minor injuries after her car went airborne in a March 21 crash.
The woman, 76, was transported by Boone EMS to University Hospital, according to the crash report.
The wreck happened around 8 a.m. when the woman, who was alone, was driving west on Missouri 124, one quarter of a mile east of Route Y, when her 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck the ground and became airborne and then struck a tree.
Man hits guardrails on Interstate 70 , taken to Columbia
CALLAWAY - A 21-year-old East St. Louis, Illinois, man suffered minor injuries March 22 after a one-car crash on Interstate 70 at the 147 mile marker. The man was transported by ambulance to University Hospital.
The wreck occurred around 7:20 a.m. when the man, driving a 2006 Chevrolet Impala in a westbound direction, traveled off the left of the road and struck a guardrail twice and then returned to the roadway crossing the westbound lanes and struck another guardrail before coming to a rest.
