Two people transported to hospital after crash
CALLAWAY - Two people suffered injuries after their car crashed March 30 on U.S. 63 north of U.S. 54.
The driver, a 73-year-old man from Jefferson City, had moderate injuries and his passenger, a 30-year-old woman from Linn Creek, had minor injuries. Each individual was taken to University Hospital, with the man transported by Callaway County EMS and the woman taken by Cole County EMS, according to a crash report.
The wreck occurred just after 3 p.m. when the man’s vehicle, a 1999 Mitsubishi 3000GT, failed to negotiate a curve, went off the right side of the roadway and struck a fence and propane tanks.
Omaha man hurt after vehicle goes off roadway
CALLAWAY - An Omaha man suffered minor injuries after his vehicle crashed March 29 on Route O east of Auxvasse Creek Bridge, according to a crash report.
The man, 40, was transported by Callaway EMS to Capital Region Medical Center.
The wreck occurred just before 12:30 a.m. when the man’s 2013 Ford F-150 ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a guardrail before returning to the roadway and then running off the left side of the roadway and striking an embankment. The vehicle began to roll and came to a rest on its side.
