Atlanta woman hurt in two-vehicle crash
BOONE - A 20-year-old Atlanta, Missouri, woman suffered minor injuries after she was involved in a two-vehicle crash May 16 at northbound U.S. 63 at Rolling Hills Road.
The woman was taken to University Hospital.
The wreck, which happened at 5:25 p.m., happened after the woman’s 2011 Ford F-150 and a 2020 Ford F-550 were going south on U.S. 63 and the F-550 - driven by a 47-year-old Shlelbina man - pulled in front of the F-150 as both vehicles entered the J-turn northbound to U.S. 63, the crash report stated. The vehicles collided, and the F-150 was propelled across northbound 63 and came to a rest in the ditch. The F-550 came to a stop within the J-turn.
One person sent to hospital after ATV crash
CALLAWAY - Two people suffered injuries after their vehicle crashed May 17 at 9416 State Highway B.
The driver, a 43-year-old Silex woman, was taken to University Hospital with moderate injuries. The occupant, a 23-year-old Martinsburg man, was not transported but had minor injuries.
The wreck, which occurred just before 8:35 p.m., occurred after the vehicle, a 2024 Polaris ATV, traveled off the roadway on private property and overturned as it entered a turn. The crash report said the driver was “found to be intoxicated.”
Columbia man sent to hospital after I-70 crash
CALLAWAY - A Columbia man suffered minor injuries after he was involved in a two-vehicle crash May 17 on Interstate 70 at the 153 milemarker.
The man, 69, was taken to University Hospital. The wreck occurred at 10:05 a.m. involving both the man, driving a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado, and another driver, a 23-year-old Lubbock, Texas, man in a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado. The 2013 Silverado failed to slow for approaching traffic and collided with the rear of the 2015 Silverado, the crash report stated.
Eldon man injured in a one-car wreck
CALLAWAY - An Eldon man suffered moderate injuries after he crashed his vehicle May 15 at U.S. 63 northbound at CR 395.
The wreck occurred at 11:35 a.m. after the man, 67, driving a 1999 BMW 328i, exited the right side of the roadway, became airborne and struck the ground. He was taken to University Hospital.
Two people sent to hospital after crash
CALLAWAY - Two people with moderate injuries were taken to University Hospital after a two-vehicle crash May 14 at Route AE just south of New Bloomfield.
The wreck happened just before 11:25 a.m. A New Bloomfield man, 59, was traveling in his 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser when he crossed the center line and collided head on with a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox, driven by a 52-year-old Holts Summit woman.
