Columbia residents hurt in crash
Two Columbia people suffered injuries after a two-vehicle crash May 28 at Route Z at the Interstate 70 ramp.
Both people were transported to University Hospital.
The wreck occurred shortly before 8 p.m. A 2005 Jaguar S-type, driven by a 57-year-old woman, attempted to turn onto Route Z but failed to yield to traffic and collided with a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt, driven by a 40-year-old man and which had previously had stopped at a stop sign on the I-70 ramp, the crash report stated.
Two-car crash injures Columbia man
BOONE - A Columbia man suffered moderate injuries after he was injured in a two-vehicle crash May 26 on northbound U.S. 63 north of Prathersville Road.
The man, 72, was transported to University Hospital.
The wreck occurred shortly before 9 p.m. when a 2005 GMC Sierra, driven by a 34-year-old Jefferson City man, collided with a 1993 Ford F150’s towed trailer unit, driven by the 72-year-old man. Both vehicles went off the right side of the road and the Sierra overturned and struck a tree and came to a rest on its left side, the crash report stated. The Ford came to a rest against the Sierra.
Woman hurt after car hits deer in crash
CALLAWAY - A 19-year-old California, Missouri, woman suffered minor injuries May 29 after she was hurt in a single-car crash in which her vehicle struck a deer that entered the roadway from the left median. The driver, a 23-year-old California, Missouri, man, was not injured. The two people were in a 2020 Mazda CX30.
The wreck occurred at 2 a.m. at U.S. 54 westbound near County Road 147. The woman was transported to Capital Region Medical Center.
Passenger suffers injury in two-car collision
CALLAWAY - A 75-year-old Jefferson City man suffered minor injuries after he was involved in a two-vehicle crash May 22 at southbound U.S. 63 south of Renz Farm Road.
The man was transported to Harry S. Truman Veterans Hospital in Columbia.
The wreck happened shortly after 4 p.m. after a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox - driven by a 36-year-old Eldon woman - and a 2023 Nissan Rogue - driven by a 69-year-old Jefferson City woman - were traveling south on 63 when the Rogue slowed for traffic and the Equinox collided with the Rogue, the crash report stated. The man was a passenger in the Rogue.
