Mexico woman hurt in crash
AUDRAIN - A Mexico woman suffered minor injuries after she crashed her vehicle May 7 on Audrain Road 929 west of Missouri FF.
The woman, 35, was taken to University Hospital by private vehicle.
The wreck happened at 8:15 when the woman’s vehicle, a 2021 Ford Escape, was going west and swerved to avoid a deer and ran off a road and struck a tree, the crash report stated.
Columbia man injured after colliding with parked vehicle
BOONE - A 40-year-old Columbia man suffered moderate injuries and was taken to University Hospital after he was involved in a two-vehicle crash May 11 at Route VV northbound south of Dripping Springs Road.
The wreck happened shortly before 9:15 a.m. when the man, driving a 2020 Buick Envision, was traveling on the roadway and collided with an improperly parked vehicle, a 2016 Ford Explorer, in the roadway, the crash report stated. The man in the Buick Envision attempted to avoid the Explorer and crossed the center of the roadway but collided with the rear of the vehicle. The Buick Envision then went off the right side of the roadway and overturned.
The report had no information on the owner of the Explorer.
Two people injured in crash
BOONE- A 39-year-old Sturgeon woman and a 31-year-old Columbia man suffered serious injuries after they were involved in a May 5 two-vehicle crash at Missouri 22 east of U.S. 63.
The wreck happened at 1:25 p.m. when the woman’s vehicle, a 2003 Toyota Avalon, traveled east and collided with the man’s vehicle, a 2021 Toyota Corolla, and both vehicles went off the side of the road where an additional impact occurred. Both the man and woman were taken to University Hospital.
O’Fallon man injured after being forced off road
CALLAWAY - A 19-year-old O’Fallon man suffered minor injuries after he crashed his vehicle May 11 on Interstate 70 at the 154.8 mile marker.
The man was taken to University Hospital. The wreck occurred just before 7 p.m. when the man, driving a 2024 Hyundai Sonata in a westbound direction, was forced off the road by an unknown vehicle and struck the median cables, the crash report stated.
St. Ann woman injured after hitting guardrail face
CALLAWAY - A St. Ann woman suffered serious injuries after she crashed her vehicle May 10 on Interstate 70 at the 144.2 mile marker.
The wreck occurred at 2:05 p.m. when the woman, driving a 2009 Toyota Sienna in an eastbound direction, traveled off the right side of the road and struck a guardrail face. The woman, 42, was taken to University Hospital.
Fulton woman injured in two-vehicle crash
CALLAWAY - A Fulton woman suffered minor injuries after she was involved in a two-vehicle crash May 7 at 4271 State Route J.
The woman, 36, was taken to University Hospital. The wreck occurred at 10:30 a.m. after a 2011 Ford Edge, driven by a 20-year-old Sturgeon man, was heading east and making a left turn and failed to yield to the woman’s southbound vehicle, a 2005 Ford Escape, which then collided with the Edge, the crash report stated. Both vehicles came to a rest in the southbound lane.
The man was not injured.
