Florissant man hurt in Audrain crash

A Florissant man suffered minor injuries after he was involved in a one-vehicle crash Monday at Route E, .5 mile north of County Road 215 in Audrain County.

The man, 20, was taken to University Hospital. The wreck happened at 1:45 p.m.

The man, who was driving a 2007 Hino 268, traveled partially off the right side of the road and his vehicle began sliding. The driver overcorrected to the left and returned to the road. The vehicle then crossed the center of the roadway and traveled off the left side of the road, where it overturned on its left side.

Centralia man hurt in two-vehicle crash

A Centralia man suffered minor injuries after he was involved in a two-vehicle crash Monday at Route Y near the Monroe County line in Audrain County.

The man, 73, was taken to Boone Hospital. The wreck occurred at noon.

The crash report stated the man, driving a 2004 Dodge 3500, was traveling north on Y along with a 2002 Ford F-250, driven by a 58-year-old Columbia man, when the Dodge crossed the center line to make a right-hand turn into a private drive. The Ford attempted to avoid striking the Dodge by swerving to the right but collided with the Dodge. Both vehicles came to a rest off the east side of Route Y. The other driver was not injured.
