Margaret Ann Brooks, 78, of O’Fallon, formerly of Auxvasse, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2020, at Abbey Senior Health in O’Fallon.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 19, at Arnold Funeral Home. Visitation is Saturday from 12 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Everyone attending is asked to practice social distancing and masks are required.

Ann was born on Nov. 23, 1942 in Middletown, the daughter of Walter and Margaret (Jarboe) Kleinsorge.

Ann was a 1960 graduate of Wellsville-Middletown High School. She then attended St. Luke’s School of Nursing in St. Louis, earning her diploma to become a Registered Nurse. Ms. Brooks was a licensed nurse in

Missouri for 50 years. Her career included working for Audrain Medical Center, Audrain County Health Department and in the operating room at Columbia Regional Hospital. Ann had also taught LPN school for one year.

Ms. Brooks was known as a great cook and enjoyed sharing those talents. She also loved to sew and crochet, especially afghans. Ann could also be found watching the Price is Right and Wheel of Fortune.

Survivors include two sons, Mark (Danene) Brooks of Fulton and Matt (Kelly) Brooks of Wentzville; two granddaughters, Leeanne and Natalee Brooks, both of Wentzville; four siblings, Melborne (Helen) Kleinsorge of Martinsburg, Erma Dunn of Middletown, Martin (Teresa) Kleinsorge of Middletown and Richard (Mary Jo) Kleinsorge of Middletown; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Maynard Kleinsorge, Theodore Kleinsorge and Robert Kleinsorge.
