Arthur Center Community Health Appoints Jennifer Freeman as chief financial officer

Arthur Center Community Health announced the appointment of Jennifer Freeman, CPA, as its new chief financial officer, effective mid-June 2025.

Freeman brings nearly 30 years of financial leadership experience in the healthcare and nonprofit sectors. Most recently, she served as finance director at ReDiscover, a community mental health center in Kansas City, where she provided strategic financial guidance for the past 18 years.

“I am eager to contribute my experience and dedication to support Arthur Center’s mission and to enhance their impact as a vital community resource,” Freeman said in a news release.

Freeman will relocate to the area to join Arthur Center’s executive leadership team. The release stated that appointment reinforces the organization’s commitment to sustainable growth, financial stewardship and the continued delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.

“We are excited for this partnership and confident in the leadership Jennifer will bring,” said Brock Lough, CEO of Arthur Center, in the news release. “Her extensive experience will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our services and resources for the communities we serve.”

Arthur Center Community Health is a nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Center and Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic providing comprehensive, integrated healthcare services across Mid-Missouri promoting health and wellness for all. Arthur Center offers a range of medical, behavioral health and support services to individuals and families in need.
