Four members of the Audrain County R-VI FFA Chapter recently attended the Missouri Professional Auctioneer Association’s first-ever Auctioneer Camp and Competition held during Farm Fest in Springfield, Missouri.
FFA members Lane Carter, Cooper Rohan, Braysen Glasgow and Chase McCurdy participated in the event, which gave students the opportunity to learn from professional auctioneers, develop their chant and bid calling skills, and gain real-world experience in the auction industry.
During the competition portion of the camp, Lane Carter earned first place in the advanced division, showcasing his skill and confidence among a talented field of competitors from across the state.
These members represented their school and community while developing valuable communication and leadership skills through agricultural education and hands-on learning opportunities.
