Some early confetti was flying at the Mexico Sports Complex on Tuesday afternoon.
That's because a crowd was there to send off eight Mexico boys and two girls and their coaches to the state wrestling tournament that will happen tomorrow and Thursday at Mizzou Arena in Columbia. Carlos Juarez Ramirez at 106 pounds, Grant Van Horn at 175, Watson Azdell at 132, Kyler Carr at 150, Grant Walker at 215, Evan Blair at 113, Logan Hilderman at 120 and Travis Shramek at 285 are the Bulldogs that start competition around 6 p.m. tomorrow and Abby Bowen at 135 pounds and Alexus Johns at 235 are the girls that begin competition around 1 p.m. tomorrow.
