Before the matches start to count, Centralia and North Callaway volleyball had the chance for early fall action.
Centralia hosted a jamboree that involved North Callaway, Father Tolton and Boonville. The Lady Panthers won on their home court against the Ladybirds in two 15-point sets by the scores of 15-10 and 15-12.
Centralia finished the night 1-2 with a 15-13, 15-9 loss against Boonville and a 15-10, 15-7 loss against Tolton. North Callaway was 0-3 with a 15-9, 15-11 loss to Tolton and a 15-12, 15-13 loss to Boonville.
Centralia opens the regular season at 7 p.m. Sept. 3 at Fulton, and North Callaway plays its first match at home at 6 p.m. Sept. 3 against New Bloomfield.
