Centralia, North Callaway dig in against each other in preseason jamboree

It took a day, but Centralia and North Callaway played some preseason softball action.
 
After Centralia's jamboree was postponed due to excessive heat last night, the Lady Panthers and North Callaway faced each other to start off the night on Wednesday, with Centralia winning the three-inning game 1-0. Centralia and North Callaway then played Hannibal and Father Tolton. Centralia defeated Hannibal 11-2 and Tolton 6-0 while North Callaway tied Tolton at 0 and defeated Hannibal 13-1. 
 
Centralia begins the regular season on Friday in pool play at 8 a.m. in the William Chrisman Tournament in Kansas City before bracket play on Saturday. North Callaway begins its season on Saturday in the Hallsville Invitational at 9:30 a.m. against Salisbury.
