Lady Panthers win by biggest margin in 60-17 win vs Bowling Green

The Centralia girls have been in the state rankings after several decisive victories this season.

The Lady Panthers had their biggest margin of victory on Tuesday night at home when they defeated Bowling Green 60-17. Centralia shot 43 percent from the field, outrebounded Bowling Green 38-16 and had five girls finish with at least nine points,

Ryenn Gordon led Centralia (8-2) with 12 points and six assists, Raegan Anderson followed with 11 points and three 3-pointers, Braylin Brunkhorst had nine points, and Morgan Ross and Shelby Lewis each finished with nine points and six rebounds. 

Centralia held Bowling Green (4-8) without a field goal in the first quarter 15-1 and led 27-8 at halftime.

The Lady Panthers host Mexico (5-8) at 6:15 p.m. tonight.

Panthers pull away from Bowling Green in second half, win 56-42

The Centralia boys had a good second half on Tuesday at home.

After struggling at times this season in the second half, the Panthers increased their 28-21 halftime lead to a 56-42 victory over Bowling Green (4-7). Centralia equaled its first-half production of 28 points in the second half.

Logan Rosenfelder led the Panthers (6-5) with 13 points and five rebounds, Cullen Bennett followed with 11 points and 11 rebounds, and Noah Kropf finished with 10 points.

Centralia hosts Class 4 No. 9 Mexico (13-2) at 7:45 p.m. tonight.
