A Chicago man died in a one-vehicle crash Wednesday.
The crash occurred at 6:20 a.m. on Highway J at Audrain County Road 481, and the driver, a 48-year-old Chicago man, was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:24 a.m., according to a crash report issued by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
According to the crash report, the driver of the 2011 International LF627 was traveling westbound on Highway J when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and struck a ditch. The cargo shifted, striking the cab as the vehicle came to rest facing west.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol no longer releases the names of people involved in crashes.
