A 23-year-old Columbia man died after he was struck by a car July 27 at Route AB, a half-mile east of U.S. 63, in Boone County, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.
The body of the man, a pedestrian, was transported to the University of Missouri Medical Examiner Office.
The crash occurred at 5 a.m. when a 2020 Toyota Camry, driven by an unknown individual, was partially parked in the eastbound lane in the ditch facing south. A 2021 Ram 1500, driven by a 20-year-old Columbia man, crossed the center of the parkway and collided with the Camry and struck a pedestrian standing near the Camry.
