EDF Renewables donated $1,000 to the local SAE grant program at Community R-6 Schools. The SAE or Supervised Agriculture Experiences allows FFA students to study an area of interest whether it is learning a new skill, establishing a business, or better understanding an agriculture issue or path. The program was originally established earlier this year through funding from the Rural Leaders of Economic Mobility and secured by the Audrain County Commission. The $1,000 donation will help the program to become more self-sustaining. Local SAE grant award winners will be announced in January.
