Community R-6 achieved an early victory on Wednesday night in Paris. The Lady Trojans scored nine runs in the fifth inning and took advantage of 11 unearned runs allowed by Paris in an 11-0 five-inning victory. Brooklynn Glasgow threw out two runners from behind the plate, caught Jocelyn Curtis as she pitched five innings with four strikeouts, three hits and two walks, and finished 2-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles at the plate. Those two doubles happened in the 13-batter fifth inning as Amy McCurdy finished with two RBI, and Curtis and Taylor Johnson drove in runs.
