It's Construction Career month and 52 schools converged at the Jaycees Fairgrounds in Jefferson City to take a day off and explore careers in construction. Decked in "safety yellow", students were invited to run equiptment such as excavators, participate in a hands-on bridge building experience, weld, build furniture and even lay bricks at the annual Build My Future Event hosted by the Associated General Contractors of America and the Home Builders Association of Central Missouri.
