First State Community Bank celebrated a decade of community service through its annual Impact Initiative, a cornerstone of the bank’s commitment to reinvesting in the communities it serves, a news release stated.
Each year, employees from all 52 FSCB branches across Missouri come together for Impact Day, a dedicated day of volunteerism focused on addressing local needs and empowering residents through education and outreach.
This year, the Mexico team made a meaningful contribution by partnering with the Help Center to combat food insecurity. On Oct. 2, the team delivered 1,529 pounds of food including canned goods, rice, sugar, salt, peanut butter and other essential items.
The donation was the result of a true team effort, reflecting the spirit of service that defines FSCB’s culture, the release stated.
In addition to donations, FSCB’s Impact Initiative emphasizes financial empowerment
through Financial Literacy classes, helping individuals and families build stronger
financial futures. According to the release, this dual approach — meeting immediate needs while investing in long-term education — demonstrates FSCB’s deep commitment to making a lasting difference in every market it serves.
As FSCB marks 10 years of impact, the bank remains dedicated to being more than just a bank, but also a partner in building stronger, more resilient communities, the release stated.
