From the Publisher: We want your feedback! Take our readership survey

At The Mexico Ledger, our mission has always been to serve the people of Audrain County with reliable, local news that matters. Now, we’re asking for your help to ensure we’re doing just that — and doing it well.

We’ve launched a brief readership survey and we want to hear from you. Whether you read every issue cover to cover, or just check in occasionally for community highlights, your opinion is important to us. The survey takes only a couple of minutes to complete and covers everything from the types of stories you enjoy to how you prefer to read the news.

Your voice will help shape the future of The Ledger. As we evaluate our editorial focus, staffing, and delivery methods, this is the perfect time to weigh in. We want to know what we’re doing right — and where we can do better.

In the first few days, we’ve already heard from more than 100 readers, and the feedback has been incredibly helpful. Some readers have praised our news coverage. Others have requested more coverage on businesses, a community calendar and several requested we increase our print frequency (unfortunately that is cost prohibitive). All of this input is guiding our conversations moving forward.

To thank you for your time, everyone who completes the survey by August 10, 2025, will be eligible for a drawing to win a $100 gift card.

We hope you’ll take a few minutes to help us grow and improve. After all, The Ledger exists for you — and with your input, we can make it even better.

You can take the survey at mexicoledger.com/survey.

Thank you for reading — and for helping shape the future of local news in Audrain County.
