Joseph Pike officiating. Burial will follow in Benton City Cemetery.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Glenn was born on December 20, 1922, in Carrolton, Ill. He was the son of Alva and Pearl (Greene) Robley. On June 23, 1946, in Mexico, he married Lucille E. Watts. She preceded him in death on May 23, 2014.

Glenn was a veteran having served in the US Army for  short time in the 1940’s. He was discharged and sent home to work the family farm after his father became ill.  Prior to the service he worked at a dairy farm.

After returning from the service he began working for Frank Pearl and stayed there for 10 years. He then opened his own body shop on January 2, 1962, where he and his wife Lucille operated Economy Auto Body for 30 years. Following retirement for many years he continued his passion for restoring and showing old cars at various car shows. He also was a member of several Auto Clubs through the years. Most recently he enjoyed “talking cars” with his fellow car enthusiasts.

Glenn has been a member of First Baptist Church of Mexico for close to 70 years, and this past December enjoyed his 100th birthday party in the church fellowship hall.

He is survived by one brother, Richard L. Robley and wife Charlene, of Mexico; several nieces and nephews; and numerous close friends he considered family.

In addition to his wife Lucille, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Henry Sylvester Robley, Clarence Robley, and Ralph Leonard Robley; one sister, Betty Jean Rouse; and his parents.

Memorials may be given to the Audrain Humane Society. They may be sent in care of Pickering Funeral Home, 403 N. Western, Mexico, MO 65265.
