Helping Hands Community Resource Center announced the opening of a new boutique located at 626 E Summit, Suite G in Mexico.
This new initiative is designed to support the organization’s free store, which provides essential
items to individuals and families in need throughout the community, according to a news release.
Also known as God’s Abundant Blessings Free Store, Helping Hands Community Resource Center is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that continues to expand its mission of connecting individuals with critical resources, compassionate support, and pathways to stability.
The free store serves individuals and families experiencing financial hardship, as well as those affected by unexpected crises such as house fires, domestic violence, and other emergency situations. By creating a welcoming environment where individuals can select needed items with dignity, the organization works to meet immediate needs while promoting a sense of independence and respect.
“This boutique allows us to expand how we serve our community,” Melissa White, founder and director of Helping Hands Community Resource Center, said in the release. “It creates an opportunity for community members to support our mission while helping ensure that individuals and families have access to the basic necessities they need.”
“We believe in loving people where they’re going,” White said. “This boutique is another way we can serve our community and ensure that no one goes without basic necessities.”
Community members are encouraged to visit the boutique, support the mission, and help make a meaningful difference for neighbors in need. For more information, to donate, or to get involved, call Melissa White at 573-975-4044.
