Aleigha Henderson pulled off some double duty on Monday.

She struck eight in seven innings pitched and drove in three runs in Mexico's 12-5 win over Hallsville at Gallop Field in Mexico, which was the Lady Bulldogs' first win over the Lady Indians (3-5) since 2019 and first time in six tries. Henderson finished 3-for-4 with four runs and two doubles at the plate and allowed four earned runs on seven hits and five walks in the circle. The Lady Bulldogs (4-6) gave her plenty of run support early with three runs in the first inning and six runs in the third inning to take a 9-0 lead. Scottie Smith went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and a double, Payton Shaw had two RBIs and Maddy Feger had a two-RBI triple.

Mexico (1-0 NCMC) hosts North Central Missouri Conference foe Kirksville (4-1, 1-0 NCMC) at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
