The Van-Far boys are still undefeated.
The Indians allowed Paris to score 18 points in the fourth quarter but held the Coyotes to single digits in each of the first three quarters to win 62-42 in Paris. Pacey Reading led Van-Far (5-0) with 21 points and nine rebounds, Evan Utterback followed with 15 points and Bryce Reading had 11 points off the bench. Landen Chapman led Paris (0-4) with 10 points and four steals -- all off the bench -- and Cayden Poddany had eight points.
Van-Far hosts Eastern Missouri Conference foe Louisiana (0-1) at 6 p.m. Friday while Paris plays at Columbia Independent at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
