Kamille Elizabeth Gardner, age 25, of Jefferson City, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Boone Hospital with her loved ones surrounding her while "having church".
When Kamille was born it was love at first sight when her parents saw her signature smile. It was a smile that could turn a bad day into a good day or turn a good day into a great day.
Kamille graduated from Jefferson City High School. Her "job" was a caregiver. She called her friends and family to encourage them and make sure they were eating and drinking the right things. Her passion was praise dancing and she had a heart for God. Kamille is well-known in the church community in Kansas City, Columbia, Mexico, Jefferson City, and Fulton.
She is survived by her parents, Christine Gardner of Jefferson City and Claude Hyler of Kansas City; grandparents Mary and Chris Gardner of Mexico; 10 siblings and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents Jessietene and Leon McKinnon; grandparents Erma Jean and Clyde Hyler; aunts Twila Walker and Alicia (Biskit) Hyler; and uncles Lance Gardner and Lester Gardner.
Services are scheduled for Saturday, July 25, 2026 at Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church (in Holt Summit). Visitation services will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The homegoing celebration will follow at 12:00 p.m with Rev. Gordon Coleman officiating . Burial will take place at Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery following the service.
