Mexico volleyball swept its way through Senior Night on Tuesday at Gary Filbert Court.
The Lady Bulldogs (11-10) continued their perfect record (no sets lost in 12 meetings now) against Brookfield (1-17) by winning in three sets (25-16, 25-15 and 25-16). They picked up 18 service aces after honoring seniors Addison Paden, Emily Moppin, Skyler Arnold, Sherlyn Mena Lopez and Zoey Schutte. Moppin, Ava Herron, Claire Isgrig each led with four aces and Arnold followed with three aces. Jaclynn Cline finished with 11 kills and 13 digs, Arnold had 11 digs and Moppin had six kills.
"When we control the serve, we are incredibly powerful on offense," head coach Kathryn French said. "We control the tempo, we control the pace and we're able to play our best game when we control the serve.
Mexico (5-1 NCMC) plays at North Central Missouri Conference foe Marshall (2-19, 0-7 NCMC) at 7 p.m. Thursday.
