The Lady Coyotes beat Van-Far 49-22 on Tuesday at home, holding the Lady Indians (1-3) scoreless in the fourth quarter and at 10 points in the second half. Alyssa Webb led Paris with 13 points, seven rebounds and two blocks and Reese Sutton followed with 12 points, seven rebounds and three steals. Gretchen Crusha added three 3-pointers off the bench. Chloe Zumwalt led Van-Far with 11 points and six rebounds, and Elliott Utterback had nine points.
Paris hosts Monroe City (2-0) at 6 p.m. Thursday, and Van-Far plays at Christian Fellowship (1-0) at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
