Van-Far picked up a crucial victory in its final home game on Monday.
The Lady Indians beat Class 1 District 4 opponent Marion County 10-0 in six innings for their 20th straight victory over Marion County (5-7) and third win in four matchups against district foes. Ady Barnett tossed her first career no-hitter with eight strikeouts and two walks in six innings. Van-Far (7-13), who has a four-season high in wins this season, had seven girls finish with at least one RBI. Emily Smith had the walk-off two-RBI single in the sixth inning, and one RBI each came from Kylee Gibson, Adrianna Craven, Bryanna Stanich, Makenna Hall, Kenya Jones and Ashlyn Marshall.
Van-Far (3-5 EMO) plays at Eastern Missouri Conference foe Wright City (8-16, 1-6 EMO) at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
