Families flocked to the park Saturday afternoon to enjoy some good weather and family time before school starts this August.
Living Hope Church hosted its fifth annual Back 2 School Fun Day & School Supply Giveaway on Saturday afternoon at Hardin Park. Children’s Ministry Director Melinda Fierge said this year’s event picked up steam, and the turnout was overwhelming.
Year after year, Living Hope dedicates the day to family fun and community support offering free lunch, kids games, prizes and free school supplies.
“Our church did complete donations this year, so we’re grateful for their support,” Fierge said.
