Laddonia native, Monte Hanson, announces the publication of his second book, “End-Time Events”. He states this book is primarily an analysis of Christianity’s current three main beliefs of how God will bring about all the end-time events described in the Bible.
The book presents an in-depth look at the three current beliefs held by Christians throughout the world today concerning biblical end-time prophecy. By examining the scriptures that each group puts forth to promote their belief, Hanson lets the reader determine which belief they think has the most valid scriptural proof texts. After a complete look at the scriptures from ‘each side’, Hanson quickly moves to a section-by-section study of Jesus’ Sermon on the Second Coming and John’s Book of Revelation. Each of these gives a good overview and some details of how God has planned out what Christians call, ‘the end times’, or, ‘the end of the world’.
“End time prophecy,” Hanson says, “should be read and studied by Christians, and not feared as many do. Too often Christians simply say ‘there is no way I can understand it so I won’t even try’. But God never intended it to be that way. In fact, in the first chapter of John’s Book of Revelation, God tells John to write that everyone can receive a special blessing just by reading the prophecy that God gave him, and that everyone should ‘take to heart’ what the prophecy says. “No one,” Hanson says, “can take anything ‘to heart’ that they don’t really understand. So evidently God expected people to be able to understand the end-time prophecy He gave to John in the Book of Revelation just by reading it and using the common sense God has given all of us.”
“End Time Events” is Hanson’s second book. Four years ago he published “That Man Jesus”, a combining of all four gospels into just one completely chronological story of Jesus, using every verse, every word, and every detail of the four gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Just like “That Man Jesus”, Hanson’s new “End-Time Events” book is available from Amazon or from Hanson himself. “End Time Events” retails for just $15 per copy.
