Why are you running and why should people vote for you?

Somebody needs to stand up for and listen to the concerns of our students and parents and not just brush it under the rug. We as a community have the right to be heard for the betterment of our children's education and opportunities to succeed in life.

What are your goals if elected?

There are several goals I'd like to address:

1. improve our special education program.
2. expand programs for our gifted/advanced students so they may learn to their full potential.
3. Have teachers teach again and not be glorified babysitters and computer monitors.
4. stop social bullying and social media in the classroom for students, teachers, and faculty alike.
5. Well everyone knows how delicious school food is, there has got to be a better alternative.

What issues are most pressing for your constituency?

I believe it's time for a change. Most people I've talked to, the goals I listed above fall right in line with all their general concerns. I don't claim to have all the answers, but I'm willing look into them and listen and try.
