Why are you running and why should people vote for you?

I'm running because our state government has stopped serving the people and only serve the interests of donors. I'm not running for power, clout, money, fame or any reason other than return power to the voters.

What are your goals if elected?

Getting money out of politics is the largest reform necessary. I will work on legislation similar to Hawaii's Act 11 to end corporate money at the state level, and present a bill to ratify the "We The People" amendment to the US constitution that will end the Citizens United decision nationwide.

We also need to address the deficit. Our taxes have been cut to the point we cannot pay our bills. I support a progressive corporate and individual income that will cut the tax burden for the lowest earners and raise taxes for the highest earners. Once our budget is on track we can fund and reform our education system and work on improving healthcare access.

What issues are most pressing for your constituency?

Everyone I've spoken to is pressured by affordability and anxious about healthcare access; the hospitals that haven't closed yet are barely hanging on while insurance premiums skyrocket.

Folks are angry that our schools are being defunded while the fortunate few are given state funds for private school. Education defines the future, for good or bad.

A lot of folks are angry at our legislature for fighting against what we voted on in 2024, while the proposed amendments from them (4,5,7 & 8) solve none of our problems, and no one asked for them. They only serve the will of donors, not the people.

Not a single person I've asked is happy with the direction our state is headed.
