Student: Baylea Porter
Parents: Jennifer Countryman and Marvin Porter
Baylea is the Drum Major of the Mexico Pride band and also a member of the jazz band. She plays tennis, is a member of the National Honor Society and a member of the Spanish Club.
Outside of school, Baylea works part-time at Brick City Painting and Drywall doing data management and bookkeeping while managing to make time for tutoring on the side. She also volunteers her time for all home quiz bowl tournaments.
What she will miss most about MHS is her close friendships with her fellow students and staff.
After high school, Baylea plans to attend a four-year college to study neuroscience.
