Mexico loses four tight sets to Warrenton, takes 2nd set

Mexico couldn't gain the advantage out of the many times on Monday night its home match was tied with Class 4 Warrenton. The Lady Bulldogs lost in four sets (19-25, 25-19, 21-25 and 22-25) after Warrenton placed the ball into the middle portion of Mexico's side of the court, but Mexico did manage to take the second set thanks mainly to a 7-0 run that included four services aces by JaClynn Cline. Cline led the Lady Bulldogs with 10 kills and four aces, Emily Moppin followed with seven kills, Nevaeh Long had five kills, and Mary Test finished with three aces and two blocks.

Mexico (3-18-1) plays at 5 p.m. tonight at Brookfield (0-16).
