Mexico volleyball had another rebuilding season this year but will have award-worthy players returning.
The Lady Bulldogs had two sophomores and a junior recognized with postseason awards after a 4-21-1 season, including sophomore JaClynn Cline and junior Emily Moppin on the all-North Central Missouri Conference second team and sophomore Ava Herron as an all-conference honorable mention. Cline also was a Class 3 District 7 honorable mention.
Cline and Moppin were Mexico’s two best attackers this season, and Herron had an admirable campaign after being moved up from junior varsity early in the season because of injury.
