The heroes that reside at the Missouri Veterans Home got a treat on Monday, Sept. 25, when a group of students from Mexico High School stopped by.
The students wanted to present a photo taken by local photographer, Eric Mattson, at a football game on Sept 8, where the student body honored Veterans with Military Appreciation Night.
The students made an announcement to the lunch crowd about the visit and then proceeded to go around and visit individually with Veterans at the home, sometimes even pointing themselves out in the picture.
