The Miss Audrain Scholarship Organization annual pageant will return to Mexico Oct. 3.
This year’s pageant will be held at the Missouri Military Academy. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the show starts at 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 and will only be sold at the door. Checks and credit/depit cards will be accepted.
The new Miss Audrain will earn a $1,000 scholarship and the new Miss Brick City will earn a $750 scholarship. Registration for competitors is still open — paperwork and registration is due by Sept. 27. Fees this year include a $100 Miss Audrain registration fee, and $30 for the American Heart Association, according to Cheyenne Chedwick, executive director of the Miss Audrain Scholarship Organization.
Just like Miss Missouri, contestants will compete in four phases of competition: on stage question, fitness, talent and evening gown. They will also complete personal interviews with the judges.
Chedwick said anyone who has questions or would like more information can email her at missaudrain@gmail.com.
