Mexico Public Schools officials said they’re proud to recognize the incredible Mexico High School students who qualified for the 2025 FBLA State Competition. Their hard work, dedication and talent are worthy of recognition, officials said in a news release.

Special recognition goes to Reiley Walker on becoming the first student from the Mexico chapter to qualify for state in all three events in the last 15 years.
Participants engaged in a diverse array of over 70 competitive events, spanning areas such as accounting, business ethics, marketing, and UX Design. The conference not only provided a platform for students to showcase their skills but also offered numerous leadership academies, workshops, and networking opportunities.
These sessions were led by industry professionals and aimed at honing essential skills like communication, time management, and strategic thinking. A highlight of the conference was the Leadership Expo, featuring over 30 exhibitors, including universities and military partners, the release stated, and this expo allowed members to connect with potential career pathways and gain insights into various industries.
Additionally, attendees had the opportunity to tour the College of Business at Missouri State University. The event culminated in the Awards of Excellence Ceremony, where top performers in each event were recognized for their outstanding achievements. Although Mexico students did not move onto the national competitions in their events, “they worked diligently to showcase their knowledge,” the release stated.
“Missouri FBLA continues to be a vital organization in shaping the next generation of business leaders,” the release stated.
